With over three decades of experience in the electronics & biomedical engineering repair industry, Simon Verrechia is the heart and soul behind iRepair.

His journey began at the age of 6 when his grandfather, a junior engineer working on the first stored-program electronic digital computer designed and built at the University of Manchester in 1948, bought him a kit-built Sinclair ZX80 8-bit microprocessor computer.

From programming to building electronic kits, Simon’s early passion for electronics was deeply influenced by his grandfather's pioneering work.

This inspiration, combined with Simon’s dedication to the craft, has led him to become one of the most trusted repair experts in the Falklands.

"In 2019, I made the move from the UK to the Falklands and quickly realised that this unique place would become my home. Since then, I've been dedicated to providing reliable electronics repair services to support individuals and businesses in our community."
